Movie Scene Monday – August 24th, 2015

BatCardGif

This week’s scene is more infamous than anything else. For those that remember the movie Batman and Robin, this scene here is the high point of the movie’s silliness. It begins with a charity auction going on and many older gentlemen are bidding on the opportunity to have an evening with Poison Ivy after she had exposed everyone in the room to her love fumes. Things get odd quickly as Batman gets into a bidding war with his sidekick Robin. Robin is determined to win the auction, but he happens to be attempting that with Bruce Wayne’s (Batman’s) own money. Batman get Robin to back down after pulling out this gem of an item. Everything about it is ridiculous, although it is not without some sort of charm. Love it or hate it, this is one memorable scene.
