Well folks you saw the story first on Shanlian On Batman a week ago. Tickets for Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice will finally go on sale Feb. 29th. Warner Bros. Pictures officially announced on twitter that the tickets for the upcoming blockbuster would  indeed be on sale in just 6 days. We had been sitting on this information for almost a month when it came to the official date, and we are happy to be able to confirm that the 29th is in fact the date that we told you about last week. Get your tickets early, since most opening day/night screenings will be sure to sell out fast.

Huge THANK YOU to “DKR” for the heads up on the lead and being spot on with his information regarding the ticket sales for the film. Without his tireless effort to find out exactly when tickets would be on sale we would have had to wait even longer to have that information.

When Will Batman v Superman Tix Go On Sale?

Now that Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is just 35 days from its premiere on the big screen, many people have been wondering when tickets for the film would be going on sale. Luckily for us “DKR” is back again with information that will shed some light on when he thinks tickets for the film will be made public.

Our source “DKR” said that “I haven’t heard anything other than February 29th so far, and I had to dig for that information. I’m confident thats when the theater has it scheduled.G1mYsmCs

Now “DKR” did mention in a follow up email to us that anything can change with the scheduling from Warner Bros.

“Warners always has the right to change it, but it’s very rare. I’ve been hearing that date for a while now. It’s 100% what Warners is telling the theater.”

So there you have it folks, it looks like Warner Bros. will begin selling tickets for the film on February 29th. But like “DKR” said anything can change since we are still 35 days away and that they have yet to actually begin booking the film into theaters, so for now it is wait and see. As soon as tickets to become available make sure that you check out Shanlian On Batman for the latest news in regards to that.

When Will We Be Seeing “Trailer 6” of Batman v Superman?

Many fans thought that we would be seeing the next trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice with last weekend’s Super Bowl. However, fans were disappointed when we didn’t get to see that rumored trailer that had been classified just a few days prior. With the help of Turkish Airlines, Warner Bros. gave a very edgy and interesting alternative “tease” with their Turkish Airline commercial that aired after Denver won the Super Bowl, which gave us us a fresh look at Gotham and a rebuilt Metropolis.

Now thanks to a friend of Shanlian On Batman not only do we know when we are getting the new trailer in theaters, but our friend now thinks he knows when the trailer may drop online.

According to our friend of Shanlian On Batman who will be called for “KDR” we will be getting the new trailer sooner than most people think. “KDR” works as a manager and projectionist at a movie theatre and shot us a message this morning stating that we will be getting Batman v Superman Trailer 6 in front of Deadpool, which makes it worldwide debut this weekend. “It’s in our system, but WB has it locked until the 12th. It will be available to play in front of Deadpool, so the trailer will most likely drop online Thursday night/Friday morning” he said.

“KDR” even snapped a few photos for proof which can be viewed below as well.

Fortunately for us the fans this may change, since as this story was about to uploaded to the website “KDR” sent us another message stating that the date for the trailer to drop online might actually be pushed up as well. “I just tried to send it to a projector and was told that it would not be available to send and view until the 10th.” So we may in fact be getting the trailer sooner than he originally thought.

Listen to Batman’s new Theme Music from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

After the success and the overwhelming love for his music in The Dark Knight Trilogy, composer Hans Zimmer decided to opt out of scoring the Batman theme for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. However, Zimmer will be returning to continue his transformative Superman score that many people loved from Man Of Steel.

Since Zimmer decided not to re-invent his already iconic music for Ben Affleck’s new Batman, he decided to enlist the help of his friend and long time collaborator Junkie XL, aka Tom Holkenborg. Holkenborg just come off the massive critical success from his 2015 score of Mad Max: Fury Road, and you can hear some of his latest music in the upcoming Deadpool film that will be released next week.

For fans who were wondering what this new Batman theme would sound like we finally have our first taste via WaterTowerMusic.

So what do you think of this new theme? Like it or love it? Or would you have preferred to have gone back to The Dark Knight Trilogies music? Let us know with a comment below!

Snyder Leaving Batman for Detective Comics?

According to a report on Bleeding Cool News, Scott Snyder who has been writing the main title on Batman for the last 5 years and garnered an amazing relaunch of Batman during the era of the New 52 will be heading to the secondary Batman title Detective Comics.

The thought process behind this move according to that Bleeding Cool report states that “the decision to switch books is more likely to be remove Snyder from the event driven nature of some modern comics and of the pressure of writing the lead Batbook.”

Now that Summer 2016 will see another re-launch of titles at DC Comics called “Rebirth,” fans will be getting across the board back to ZERO comics. This will also include a bi-weekly comic from the main title on Batman as well. Other main titles will see a bi-weekly book, but details on which main titles those will be have yet to be released.

Details about this are subject to change as no word from DC or Snyder about this potential move have officially come from them. However, now that Greg Capullo is taking a break from penciling Batman comics to work on a Mark Millar project this rumor seems to have some merit to it. Look for full details come from DC as Summer slowly looms.

The 2-CD deluxe package, the digital deluxe version, and the 3-disc deluxe vinyl set feature over 90 minutes of music, five bonus tracks, an exclusive fold-out poster and liner notes from the composers. Additionally, the vinyl set features etched vinyl art and an album download card.

“Junkie XL is an incredibly insightful film composer. It was a perfect idea for us to work together on the ‘Batman v Superman’ score,” explained Academy-Award-winning composer Zimmer. Grammy nominee Junkie XL showed equal excitement at the pairing, saying, “Hans has an incredible legacy, and I was extremely thrilled when he approached me to work on ‘Batman v Superman’ with him.”

The composers discussed their close working relationship with director Zack Snyder. “Zack allows us to try things we haven’t tried before. He’s very supportive of the eccentricities that we bring to this,” says Zimmer. Junkie XL concurred. “He’s very open and accepting of our ideas, and infuses the creative process with an energy that inspires you.”

“Hans and Tom (Junkie XL) created an incredibly compelling and interesting new musical world for Batman, while continuing to expand on the amazing world and themes Hans had previously created for Superman,” noted director Zack Snyder. “By aligning their vision with my perspective and seeing the characters anew through the lens of the film they were able to support the visual aspects of movie in a way that elevates the film to another level. In so many ways, they become the final texture, the final note in the process of creating the world.”

“This electrifying collaboration brings us such brilliant new character themes,” commented WaterTower Music head Jason Linn, “While we’ve been fortunate to work several times with both composers individually, this experience has been uniquely thrilling.”

Zack Snyder on Conan

Earlier this evening Zack Snyder was on The Conan O’ Brien show where he talked the bat- mobile and revealed the first clip from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice!

You can really tell that Batman and Superman really hate each other and it is awesome. Only 70 plus days until we get that film in theaters.
